What is RomCom: Divergence about?
Follow the life of our protagonist as he embarks on his new life, meets a variety of beautiful ladies, and discovers that things aren't quite what they seem—
Wait, scratch that. You know the drill already, right?
Start a new game, choose a name, and complete the story while unlocking all the endings.
Collect every heroine to 100% that gallery, and ruin the life of every other male character in the process.
Stuck at an obstacle that feels impossible to overcome? No worries— just follow a walkthrough or even use cheat codes!

Well, this story is all about the characters whose lives get turned upside down by that same someone.
This visual novel will be divided into episodes, each featuring its own timeline and protagonist (male or female).

Is the game in Spanish or are they going to add it?
English-only for now, sorry!
Translations might come later, but not in the near future.
Well, it would be interesting to have it very soon so that other players can play the game in Spanish.
I'll try to ask Santa Claus for a Spanish proofreader this Christmas! (lol)

But I already have my hands full with making the game, so unfortunately, translations aren't a priority for now.
I think I'll wait until Episode 1 is fully completed before I start worrying about them.

I just played this game, and I never expected it to bring me such a wonderful surprise. The black humor in the game made me laugh out loud. The protagonist is undoubtedly not a good person—he’s more like a utilitarian player, perhaps. But I’m really curious about how the second season described in the game will unfold. According to the current progress, the game should have two more updates before we can see the protagonist corrupt all the female characters. I don’t want other male characters to have sexual relationships with the female characters in the second season.

As for future episodes, I'd rather stay quiet and let you see for yourself in-game when they're out...
But don't worry! I stand firmly by my no-NTR rule ^^

As for the 'multi-protagonist' part, I'd rather keep the surprise for how the next episodes will play out...
But yes, there will be other characters stepping into the protagonist role besides your current named character, both male and female.

There is! Though it’s more of the fast-paced kind (sort of).
Very good jov dev. I love the renders and the motivation behind each facial expression, specially the smiles. Nonetheless, I would like to comment some aspect (just gave a 5 star review, btw)... So, SPOILERS AHEAD!!!:
1. I don't like the jerk behavior of the player. I wish that he got his saves erased again and was forced to really stay in character without... well, killing while having sex or masturbating in front of an unconscious girl. Really wished he was, well, perverted just to a normal point.
2. I love the non-sex jokes, such as mini-games, critic to stupid lore of other VN, and the way reload is portrayed. Btw, wouldn't the player be able to mass press the 'back' button to rewind even with 1 save?
3. Love the breaking of the four wall.
4. Please add the tag "NSFW" and "Hentai" to make it easier to search on itch.io.
I would love if you were to take these facts into account. Again, really good job, even for a first VN. I cannot blame you for briefing some parts of the sex scenes, they take a long time to make. Good job so far Haptales!

For the sex scenes, I'm a bit limited by my current knowledge and skills. I hope to eventually make more complex ones (using Timeline, if you're familiar with Koikatsu!), but for now it's hard to find the time to learn while also working on the game.
Perfection can't be rushed. Your game is very good (and hilarious). I'll wait for the future updates eagerly.

Haptales you are very talented never put yourself down, you are incredible and can do anything, the skies the limit. this game is so incredible, it's magnificent you made the characters come to life through there personality, I will say you made me fall in love with these characters, I love each and one of them especially the character design and the graphics to the game. I am going to try this visual novel out so either way dev is it possible to comibe visual novels with chatbots I mean both of these things are popular these days so can you try it out like combine them both its a gebrous request no one is doing this by the way

The new version will include lots of fixes for the beginning of the game, so I'd recommend waiting for the September 24th public release for a more comfortable experience!

Sadly, I'm just starting out with RomCom: Divergence, and I don't have the know-how for that kind of project.
Also, being a bit AI-illiterate myself doesn't help!
Anyway, I'm pretty sure more talented people will make a game like this one day. I think we already have that one Yandere game that works kind of like this?

Great game but on Android you should add the option to hide the task bar, like whenever there's a sex scene half of the content shown is block by the black text box.

I don’t have a Discord server, but I post a devlog every 3–4 weeks.
The next one should be up on July 9th around 2 PM (UTC+2) on Patreon and Subscribestar, and later that day on Itch once I’m back from work!

Assuming you're downloading the game from Itch:
For PC and Mac:
For Android:
The patch is pre-installed, but you'll need to enable it from the Preferences menu.
Note: When the patch is installed, the game version will end with a "p".
If you've already started an unpatched game, I recommend starting a new one after applying the patch so you don't miss anything.

Regarding the English and grammar issues, Chapter 2 should have far fewer than the Prologue and Chapter 1. I'm planning to fix those in the next update.
As for the hide button, I assume you're playing on Android? Your comment made me aware of the issue, and I'll fix that in the next update as well.
I've never really used Android to play games myself, so that's the kind of thing I tend to overlook. So thanks for pointing it out!
